- Mesh-like Fabric – breathable, lightweight, and engineered with our patented tan-through technology. This fabric allows sunlight to pass evenly through the material, giving you a flawless, line-free tan while still protecting your skin with SPF 35 coverage.
- Advanced Tan-Through Fabric – created using a different innovative technology, this fabric offers a slightly more opaque look while still allowing for tanning. It is soft, durable, quick-drying, and designed for all-day comfort.
Both fabrics are made with sustainability in mind, using recyclable fibers and eco-conscious production methods.
Sunscreen & Skin Protection
For the healthiest, most beautiful tan, we recommend pairing your Smart SwimSuit with reef-safe sunscreen.
- Apply sunscreen to all open areas of skin that are not covered by your swimsuit.
- Choose a reef-safe sunscreen with a protection level that matches your Smart SwimSuit’s built-in SPF 35.
- Always follow the application instructions on the sunscreen’s packaging to ensure proper protection.

How to Care for Your Swimwear
Your Smart SwimSuit is made to last—but only if you treat it with love. Follow these simple steps to extend the life of your swimsuit and keep it looking as vibrant as day one:
After Every Use
- Hand wash only – never machine wash.
- Rinse in cold water immediately after swimming in the pool or ocean to remove chlorine and salt.
- Use very mild soap or specialty swimwear detergent (avoid Woolite and harsh chemicals).
Drying
- Never twist or wring out your swimsuit to remove water.
- Lay flat to dry on a towel, away from direct sunlight.
- Do not machine dry or dry clean.
- Hanging is acceptable, but avoid stretching the straps.
Additional Tips
- Never iron your swimsuit.
- Store flat in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid contact with rough surfaces to prevent snags.
